2. Responsible and Respectful Use

FreeYap champions free expression to foster genuine conversations. This freedom relies on users engaging responsibly and like adults. While we do not pre-emptively monitor or censor your private conversations, you agree not to use FreeYap to facilitate or engage in:

• Credible threats of violence against individuals or groups.
• Activities related to terrorism or the promotion of terrorist acts.
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any form of child exploitation.
• The use of FreeYap as a direct tool for coordinating or committing any other activity that is explicitly illegal under applicable law.

We trust our users to interact responsibly. However, if we are made aware of the platform being used for the serious illegal activities listed above and are legally compelled (e.g., by a valid warrant), we will cooperate with law enforcement. This is about maintaining platform integrity, not policing opinions or morality.

Your conversations are private from us, but not necessarily from your chat partner. Be mindful of what you share, as the other person can remember, record, or respond—just like in real life.

3. Service "As Is"

FreeYap is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties. We do our best to provide a reliable service, but we can't guarantee it will always be perfect, secure, or uninterrupted.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeYap (and its creators) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
